The Rooiputs private concession area is located within the captivating Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park on the Botswana side, 25 km north of Two Rivers (Twee Rivieren). Situated off the predator-rich Nossob valley, the lodge is perched along a mature red sand dune, overlooking a busy water hole.

Rooiputs offers exceptional wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities, with 60 mammal species including gemsbok, wildebeest, springbok, hartebeest, eland, and steenbok. Predators such as black-maned Kalahari lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and wildcats are abundant, with cheetahs thriving in the fossil river valleys and dunes. Eighty established waterholes along the Auob and Nossob Rivers attract game and predators, providing close-up vantage points for photographers.
Twelve thatched chalets at Rooiputs: 1 Desert Suite, 1 Family Chalet, and 10 Standard Chalets. Each features solar power, hot and cold water, Wi-Fi, outside showers, and private balconies with views of the waterhole and sand dunes. The Desert Suite also includes an outdoor bathtub, while all chalets have small sitting areas and his-and-hers wash basins.

Polentswa is located 222 km from Two Rivers along the predator rich Nossob Valley on the Botswana side of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The camp is nestled amongst tall trees and dwarf scrubs overlooking the Polentswa Pan with its waterhole and exciting game.

Polentswa is a birding haven with migratory species and over 300 resident birds. The area also hosts more than 60 mammal species, including gemsbok, wildebeest, springbok, eland, and steenbok, while predators such as Kalahari lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and wildcats add to the park’s wildlife appeal.
